As a person who blogs in the Malayalam language, I protest the plagiarism and copyright violation Yahoo! and Yahoo! India did in preparing their Yahoo! Malayalam page. They prepared their pages by copying articles from Malayalam blogs without asking the permission from the authors. This is unfortunate and condemnable.
മലയാളത്തില്‍ ബ്ലോഗുകള്‍ എഴുതുന്ന ഒരാളെന്ന നിലയ്ക്കു് ഞാന്‍ യാഹൂ മലയാളം എന്ന പേജ് ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നതില്‍ യാഹൂവും യാഹൂ ഇന്‍ഡ്യയും നടത്തിയ മോഷണത്തെയും പകര്‍പ്പവകാശതിരസ്കരണത്തെയും അപലപിക്കുകയും എന്റെ പ്രതിഷേധം അറിയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. എഴുതിയവരുടെ അനുവാദം വാങ്ങാതെയാണു് മലയാളം ബ്ലോഗുകളില്‍ നിന്നു് കൃതികള്‍ മോഷ്ടിച്ചു് അവര്‍ തങ്ങളുടെ പേജുകളില്‍ ഇട്ടതു്. ഇതു് ഏറ്റവും നിര്‍ഭാഗ്യകരവും ഗര്‍ഹണീയവും ആണു്.

പുഴ.കോം പ്രശ്നം മുതല്‍ ഇതുവരെ ഇതിനെപ്പറ്റി ഒരു അഭിപ്രായവും പറയാത്ത ആളാണു ഞാന്‍. ഇതിനെപ്പറ്റിയുള്ള എന്റെ അഭിപ്രായങ്ങള്‍ ഒരു ലേഖനമായി എഴുതിത്തുടങ്ങിയതു് നാളത്തേയ്ക്കു തീരുമെന്നു തോന്നുന്നില്ല. അതിനാല്‍ എന്റെ പ്രതിഷേധം ഈ വിധത്തില്‍ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തട്ടേ.
